You can’t change everything in your life all at once. Whatever bad habits or mess you've gotten yourself into, it happended slowly, over time. It may take the same amount of time in reverse to change it.

If you have anxiety or feel overwhelmed, then you won’t respond to an avalanche of information and instruction. It will only make you more anxious when confronted with too many choices and options about what to do, how to do it, and in what order.

So, start small and take it slow. Pick one thing and focus on it. Build one positive habit at a time – or practice eliminating a bad one. It may be that you can only do one thing per month, 12 per year. But think about how different your life can be in a year if you can introduce and stick with 12 improvements.

There are no shortcuts, no hacks. You will need to put in the work, and the work takes time. It takes falling down and getting back up again. You may need to begin again several times.
